Reading the card explains the card unless the card contains "The Ring Tempts You", "Venture into the Dungeon", "Take the Initiative" in which case you need a reminder token to track what the card does

Guys, play like, hearthstone, if you wanna get eased into these games. It's not Uber complicated but a lot of its mechanics are also used in many games like it, poison being a one hit, trample, shield ect ect.

The meld mechanic is technically a secret third card taped to the back of two other cards, not a double faced card spread over two. This is relevant for like two specific interactions.
