Happens more than ppl know. This is why females are afraid to speak up because nothing is ever done. I had a situation that was investigated by NCIS prior to me retiring last year and they STILL allowed him to retire knowing he was guilty and just knocked him down a rank when this man assaulted 6 women including me. The way the military handles these cases are a joke and the other person walks with a simple slap on the hand at times. It’s sad in cases like this and Vanessa Guillen because all they do is cover it up and not release the REAL truth

we had something like this happen on our ship when I served some female sailor visited her ex-boyfriend also a sailor. as a joke he pointed the gun at her head and it went off and he didn't know it was loaded allegedly .he eventually got around a dozen years in jail.

if i’m a hour late, i’m already getting a text or a call from my LPO asking if “im alive”. it’s a standard in the navy. maybe bc my shop is small but they definitely should’ve known she was missing
