Sure I’d do literally anything to protect my child. But I also wouldn’t pretend to be shocked that I’m later held accountable for breaking the law, no matter how good of a reason I felt I had to do it.

there’s no country in this world that allows people to enter illegally. The life kids derserve is not one living in constant fear of separation bc mom and daddy willingly put me in an illegal situation.

My daughter has a friend whose father was deported and she was left here with abusive mom. The ICE agents got her away from abusive mom with help from school and still check on her to this day. This was 6 years ago. Dad ended up coming back to us legally as well.
