I can’t imagine what parents go through when they’re forced to flee their home countries with their children, facing dangers I’ve never had to consider, all because they’re fighting for their families’ lives and future. These mothers and fathers are doing exactly what I would do, whatever it takes to keep their children safe, except they’re navigating systems that make legal pathways nearly impossible. I’ve never walked in those shoes, so I won’t judge impossible decisions made out of love. Sometimes protecting our children requires courage I hope I never have to find. I’m not condoning violence, I’m not saying there shouldn’t be a system. But my heart doesn’t feel good watching families be torn apart. #loveyourneighbor

My 3 year old daughter jumped from two steps up into a puddle of water on concrete Saturday night, feet flew out from under her & had a horrible concussion. We learn so much about ourselves as mothers in those moments of uncertainty. Praise Jesus your daughter is going to be okay! 🥺💕 Praying for healing for your sweet girl & your Mama heart!!
