I enjoy Ballen’s stories usually, but I hate when he does stuff like saying what the girls were talking about, yet he fully made that up as they weren’t alive to tell that part. Idk, it feels wrong to me.

in the town I grew up in, there was a main train line next to a car crossing. the railroad said it was a private crossing so they didn't need a gate, one train came and dropped some cars, they didn't clear the crossing, a van (with a driver and a train crew) needed to cross the tracks. the van driver went to speed across the main line, ended up coming face to face with a BNSF train. that train threw that van 150ft. of course the train couldn't stop on a dime so help took a little while to get to the van. all but 1 person died. that was a new railroad hire that was sitting in the back of the van. he was a simple man after that that enjoyed gardening. BNSF told the families of the victims that they had to watch the video of the wreck before BNSF would pay out a settlement! it's still wild!

I was sososo confused about this locations layout & where the girls were sitting I had to watch a few times. So sad it couldve derailed literally anywhere else but it did right behind them.
