Press conferences aren’t sacred rituals; they are public accountability forums. Silencing a senator isn’t “common sense”—it’s a dangerous precedent. Disruptions can be handled without force. Respecting the law means respecting the Constitution and the rights of elected officials to speak on behalf of the people. If he can be shoved aside, what protections exist for the rest of us?
