While it’s so difficult - it’s important to say what a blessing it is to carry a baby. I don’t take it for granted for one second. At the same time, it absolutely comes with it’s challenges! I get really sick in all my early pregnancies, but luckily it does start easing up around 14 weeks. MAJOR shout out to HG mamas who can’t keep anything down & need those IVs — YOU.ARE.WARRIORS 👏🏼. While nothing truly takes it away, these are things that *help* me: 🤍By far the biggest one is eating every 1-2 hours. It’s the most frustrating task because nothing sounds good, but an empty stomach makes it much worse. Keep snacks & eat whatever you can keep down. Even if it’s the same thing you’ve had for the past 3 days 🥯 🤍Eating some protein & fats with the carbs. It stabilizes blood sugar levels which helps reduce nausea. Protein shakes, cheese, & greek yogurt have been my go-tos 🤍Plain water sounds horrendous, but adding TONS of ice & squeezed lemon helps. @truelemon packets were a life saver too! 🤍There’s a few hours in the morning I don’t feel as sick, so I try to do some type of movement. It helps me a lot mentally to feel more like myself & gives me a *little* more energy 🤍I’ve tried all the different “remedies”, & the only thing that’s helped *ME* is the prescription Bonjesta. I’ve taken it with my last 3 pregnancies & it’s helped! 🤍Give yourself THE MOST grace because YOU’RE GROWING A HUMAN & AN ORGAN. Our bodies are working SO hard. It’s a phase, it’s a phase, it’s a phase #firsttrimester #pregnancy #11weekspregnant #11weeks #nausea #babynumber6
