I think we have to refuse to use the companies’ language. “AIs” today are not actual AIs as the average person thinks of them, it’s just a misrepresentation used by the companies to get ppl on board. We have to start calling them LLMs more and explaining to people what that means.

I can't decide who is worse: people who believe what AI says or people who assume AI is sentient. It's abunch of algorythms that compile the most statistically probable answer. With the raging anti-intellectualism people start turning AI into a some kind of machine religion at this point
