I don't know what you think as a Pakistani, but the Chinese regard this as a wrong stance and another stab in the back.😅

The problem with Iran is it stands on the board btw Europe and Asia and it doesnt know where it belongs and still think highly of itself in the golden days of the Persian Empire, its only has acquaintances and enemies. it doesnt trust anybody so nobody trusts them, China helped Pakistan and NK with nuclear tech if Iran fully aligned to the East it could have gotten it long ago, but with constant flip flopping, they r on their own.

Nah Iran biggest issue isn’t technology deficiencies, it’s the fact that INTERNALLY They’ve been compromised and infiltrated. Anyone with brain can see how they can betray their own. No country in the world would you see heavyweight general,scientists all star line up took out at once. Iran wants a conditional surrender to US. Meanwhile US only allows an unconditional surrender from Iran. China shouldn’t be involved, otherwise would only become bargaining chips for Iran.

Small countries can play the balance game and get along well on all sides. It is very dangerous for big countries to play the left and right game among superpowers. China can support its Pakistani brothers without limit because we know that Pakistanis have enough self-respect and will not compromise or kneel to the enemy right after we have supported them. Similarly, the Pakistanis will also trust us to respond to our support through actions so that we can cooperate deeply, while Iran clearly does not deserve it.
