Explanation: so in the year 536 a huge volcano I don't remember its name but it erupted and smoke the covered the world and blocked the sun so it's was freezing below 0 or even worse and lots of people were dying because of the cold and with no sun there is no crops and with no crops no food and with no food we died and from what I found nearly half or more people from where the volcano erupted died.

If you don’t have time to look it up, here’s them explained: covid 19-pandemic from 2019-2022ish. Chernobyl-leak in Soviet Union, the Ukrainian region, that caused radioactive gases and such to spread. Carrington event- big solar storm on the sun, caused places depending on electricity to have fires, would be bad if it happened today and could cause extinction because of our dependency on electricity. Cuban missile crisis- Cuba was being armed nukes from Soviet Union, almost used them against America and America almost used them against them, could’ve caused nuclear world war. Black Death- European/Asian plague that caused 50% of Europeans to die. Stanislav Petrov case- a Soviet submarine was near USA and thought they were being Attacked, wanted to launch nuke but needed approval from top people in submarine, stanislav declined approval and this prevented nuclear war. Wurm Glaciation- mostly impacted climate and temperatures, made life hard for early humans. Year 536- worst year to be alive as a human, big volcanoe eruption caused crops to not grow and made smoke appear, sunlight wasn’t as good. Toba explosion- toba caldera, a mountain in Sumatra, Indonesia, erupted and caused huge climate change, impacting human life. Great genetic bottleneck- usually refers to huge loss of life, I’m assuming this one is talking about when humans fell to 1280 individuals, almost near extinction
