Macaroni is pasta, not noodles. Noodles are typically Asian, like ramen or udon, while pasta-macaroni, spaghetti, fusilli, etc.-is Italian. Just because they're both made from flour doesn't make them the same. Calling macaroni "noodles" is lazy, inaccurate, and erases real cultural distinctions.
