I made friends with a crow year ago, I leave him food out and water every day, he started bringing shiny objects and leaves them next to his food plate almost every day, his brought me pieces of foil, shiny rocks, metal bottle caps, earrings, 4 sterling silver bracelets about 10 rings one of them is 18K gold with 1 carat diamond idk where he got that one from 🤣 is engraved "to the moon and back" my husband says I might now be engaged to that crow 🤣

The way it keeps jumping away after grabbing the food, makes me think, maybe the crow saw an animal or bird get caught or trapped, when it tried to take food from somewhere.

You got a raven there! Clearly he do not trust the plate, just put it on the sidewalk tomorrow at the exact same time. By next week they will be 20 coming for daily feeding at that time of the day. (Once a raven knocked on my window to let me know i was late for his feeding😂🤣)

I have a crow family that visits. I feed them meat scraps. I can hear them now haha. They don’t get food every day. If I have left over meat or if I buy chicken and remove the skin and fat, I usually cut it up and freeze it in small packs and keep it in a bag labelled crow food.

My mom fed a raven when I was a little girl and a few days later she came back with all her starving babies. They were not doing well. We took care of them till they were healthy and they would always come back to our house
