I have a fan theory about good times and it revolves around Florida being a curse on the family. They were struggling and every time there was a come up she squashed it. James goes down to Mississippi and starts a business and he’s doing well. The day before Florida and the kids were going to join him, he dies. Florida moves to Arizona to be with her new husband and while she gone the Evans kids thrive. JJ has an awesome job, Thelma is in college and looking good as hell, Michael is ok too I guess. Florida comes back, JJ looses his job and Thelma’s professional football playing husband gets hurt and is kicked off the team. Florida is a curse
