I'm a Brit. Have you ever listened to From Our Own Correspondent from BBC Radio 4 because, like so many letters from those seasoned journalists, this here is a beautiful piece of writing and the delivery is perfect. Fiona Hill is amazing btw.

like many, I look forward to your posts...I have yet to hear anything you have said that I was not just impressed by..in fact I am inspired by your summaries. I do have a question for you: I have known many people who are reasonably intelligent that have turned into feverish trumpsters , complete with anxious acceptance of wild conspiracy theories. I speculate that the internet and right wing messaging on cable, has produced misinformation and lies that produce viewers for profit at a level never imagined before. Yet lies are considered "free speech" and hence as long as they are profitable, it will always be one of the largest influences in modern day pseudo news. My question is how do we deal with epic levels of lies??
