I check their profile and past comments/videos in case I’m not sure of their bias. And of course double check on Google or somewhere else or if it’s opinion, I think on it. The irony is that we need to have a moral compass or else we’d be moderating more and more towards fascism.

If a news article has an unnecessary adjective in the title, instant skip. There’s no reason a NEWS article should be using flowery language to evoke emotion unless they’re trying to sway public opinion.

I got 10 out of 10. That doesn't mean I remember to do so at all times. I was a trained journalist though so the habits are still with me. sometimes I save videos to get back to them. and I've definitely retracted some repost when the dates are off.

the second one is so important! i check my own self for that all the time i wish more people would do the same. i feel like any nuanced discourse is impossible to have on this app about anything because everyone wants to have a take no matter who they are and how relevant the issue is to their life experiences.

I always do my own research, 10 people can read the same article and come out with a different opinion. However, I recently realized I need to be checking people profiles before interacting, I look through comments to see what date it was posted but checking out their other videos is also important. Rule of thumb - I don’t repeat info until I’ve got my hands on other source material and formed my own opinion.
