My parents didn’t let me have access to a actual phone until 16, would look through my search history and photos every night and when I was 9-14/15 would force me to throw away all my art and anything they deemed “demonic” for a couple years, and they wonder why now I never share anything with them

My Karate instructor moved away, after that I really struggled finding another physical activity that I wanted to do. She signed me up for cheerleading and I pulled something during the first practice. I didn’t know how to communicate that(I was a child) so I cried saying I didn’t want to be there. She told me don’t waste her money on anymore activities I didn’t want to do.

girl put ur computer skills to use. i spent ages 7-19 glued to my phone or a computer screen before the internet was an everyday thing and everyone would tell me i was wasting my life. i never went to college and i come from an abusive home with an addict father who abandoned me and left me to struggle financially as soon as i turned 18. thanks to the internet i have ran multiple large accounts on social media, businesses. im in my 30s and have never had a traditional job and am doing way better than my peers who took the traditional route.

I did hone all of those talents and skills. I won awards in phys Ed competitions, math, art. MY NARCISSIST FAMILY HATED ME MORE. When my brother got his ankle monitor off for his 3rd DUI, my narcissist Mom threw him a party. when I started my own charity, she barely looked up from her phone, said "Oh, thats nice and didn't donate." 😡
