Follow this easy recipe to create your own batch of Şekerpare 🥚 Ingredients: For approx. 22 pieces Syrup: - 500 ml water - 340 g sugar - 1 tsp lemon juice Dough: - 120 ml vegetable oil - 3 eggs (reserving 1 egg yolk for brushing) - 60 g powdered sugar - 130 g fine semolina -16 g baking powder - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 300 g all-purpose flour Topping: - Ground pistachios 👩🏻‍🍳 Instructions: 1. Prepare the syrup by bringing water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Let it simmer for 10 minutes, then add the lemon juice. Simmer for another 5 minutes and let it cool. 2. In a bowl, mix vegetable oil, eggs (except for the reserved egg yolk), powdered sugar, semolina, baking powder, and vanilla extract until well combined. 3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture and knead until you have a smooth dough. 4. Shape the dough into small oval pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with the reserved egg yolk and use a fork to create lines on top of the dough pieces. 5. Bake the Şekerpare in a preheated oven at 175°C (345°F) (convection setting) for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown. 6.
