No, don't. Orcas navigate via solar location. Your boats engine disorients them and distresses calves. If they're lucky. If they're unlucky, as upwards of 70% are these days, the boats propeller actively maims them. Go to Seaworld, leave the wild ones alone in peace.

Conservation and zoological facilities work hand in hand- yes, even SeaWorld. The better we understand whales in both human care and the wild, the better we can care for and protect them. We must work together to protect our natural world, not tear each other down. Seeing whales in their natural habitat IS important, when it is done ethically, and so is seeing animal ambassadors in zoological facilities!

Also make sure you’re using an ethical tour company—many have a limit for how close you can get to whales! We’re in their homes after all🫶🏽

How did we ever think it was ok to take these magnetic creatures from their giant beautiful territories for our tiny tanks 😭

Id love to see this. I live a mile from Sea World and haven’t given them a dime in my money. I don’t hate on people who do but it’s not my bag to view animals in captivity.

Sea world should only treat and release animals back to the wild, after being saved!

we can't boycott seaworld as they need money to care for them. if we do, they have no place to put the still captive animals. as sad as it is, there is no way around captivity.

Life changing! The sound they make when they come up for air will forever be one of my favorite sounds. We could see them from our Airbnb in the San Juan Islands.
