On my previously banned account I could not say the word gay without an immediate guideline violation. Even “gay pride”. And you can’t convince me that TT is not able to use a “sentiment algorithm” to know if it’s used derogatorily or not. There’s no way an algorithm can’t identify “gay pride” as a positive use of the word. It’s really fucking infuriating. We have these complex language algorithms that can speak like real humans - we can DEFINITELY tell the difference between 🌽 and good faith usage. I’m so angry about it from a tech perspective
