shes referenced hairpin drop three times in her work. twice in lyrics, and the third she quite literally acting out a hairpin drop on the eras tour. when she's acting out flirting with one of the dancers who's hair at the start of the tour starts as up and beautifully pinned, and as the shows go on the dancers hair falls out of the bun until fully down, unpinned. I believe when she's singing TLGAD, when they're on the stairs :).

I had posted a video about how she does this in her writing all the time, taking idioms or turns of phrase and then switching out key words to change the meaning. But funny, it’s only ever the “Hairpin Drop” line that people say is a coincidence and not intentional.
