It’s also the case that the US is more isolated then ever before on the world politics stage. Many of US allies who would’ve ”tagged along” with the Is simply won’t do that at the moment given the behaviour en rethoric from DJT. Personally I think that Israel has recognised that and tried to make this happen before tje US became too weak but misjudged the situation and were in fact too late. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
