This is gonna sound obvious but when your upset and panicking its human nature to miss the obvious. Did you ask the airline if you could reschedule your flight vs getting a whole new ticket? You might have to pay a fee and/or the difference but it never hurts to explain the situation and ask if they can accommodate your emergency situation.

This exact thing happened to me back in October. I was at work but I checked on my small dog through my cameras and saw he was bleeding. My friends who were playing with my dogs didn’t even notice and if I wouldn’t have checked the camera he could have died. I got him to the ER and he had emergency surgery to remove his eye. He’s doing great! I love my little one eyed pup ❤️

That happened to my Boston Terrier. Unfortunately the eye could not be saved so she only had one eye. She was able to get around with any issues. Sorry this happened your sweet baby.

So sry that happened , same thing happen to my service dog who was also a chihuahua. He lost his eye but it didn’t fase him. He lived a couple years past the attack(they hadn’t planned him to) before passing from a seizure. Hang in there there tough little guys

omg Cassie so sorry to hear that... Fly home to your baby, he needs you. praying for you and your baby. That dog sitter shouldn't had taken on another dog with yours. girl make them pay your vet bill.

that happened to my shihtzu! he'll be ok! my dog is blind in one eye, dogs are resilient, shes happier and more wild/plays harder than ever.
