Let’s be honest the conflict between the U.S./Israel and Iran has very little to do with nuclear weapons, and everything to do with power, control, and regime change. Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and allowed IAEA inspections. The 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA) placed even stricter limits on Iran’s program, and Iran complied. It was the U.S. that violated the deal first in 2018, not Iran.
There is no confirmed evidence from the IAEA that Iran is building a nuclear weapon. That narrative is a political tool, not a legal or factual concern. The real issue is that Iran has an independent government, supports resistance groups in the region, and refuses to fall in line with U.S. and Israeli strategic interests. That’s why there’s constant pressure, sanctions, and even talk of war.
This isn’t about “international law.” It’s about maintaining dominance — and using fear to justify interference.
