I wish my parents would understand. It’s been 6 years since we were 14, I’m 20 now and I don’t have a curfew but I’m only allowed to go like if we have a date, from the moment I leave, I need to be back in 3 hours. And no time after like 6 pm. They stopped me from going to my dream college, they don’t let me

My son had good grades and gf too and they had a baby at 16 😅 he graduated actually as a 10th grader. But still I wish he would have enjoyed his adolescence a bit longer.

My mom didn’t allow any boy to date me if they didn’t have a job. Amongst many other rules.. She always said as boys becoming men they should be able to take a women out w/o mom or dad money. She enforced the same rule on my brothers.. I will do the same for my kids.

My mom & my bf’s parents raised us this way. We started dating at 13 & are still together 12 years later ☺️can’t say we never pushed our parents’ boundaries as kids do, but we were always put back in our place & kept a trusting relationship with our parents

I’m glad to see and hear I’m not the only parent parenting this way. I get a lot of backlash from people regarding this but i know my daughter and her bf and his family are all on board. We have great communication and a better bond with them. But their grades have to be kept up as well.

I truly love this. i’m from northern CA & my oldest is turning 15, & she’s had a little crush. I got scared but I know supporting them & being there as mom & friend helps a lot. I see this coming my way very soon & im gonna be this mom. loveeee it & she’s gorgeous 🫶🏻🌺

This brought me back to when I was a teen .they moved me to a different state just because they thought a boy liked me.on the day we packed our stuff up my friend had called me which was a guy asked if I wanted to go to the movies. my step dad over heard me asking my mom at that time we had landline he took the phone with him when he was leaving just so I wouldn’t use the phone 😭😭I had the worst childhood when I moved back in with my mom ,now that I have kids i tell myself I will never end up being like my parents with my kids

Ma’am I appreciate the trust you have in your daughter but sleep overs are INSANE at this age. Not only that but as a former teenager going thru hormones and puberty….lets just say let’s not make it easy for them. Or you will be a grandma by the time she’s 15/16
