heyyyy so Vero is a warlock who wanted magic desperately to fit in with the family (the first in generations to be born without it) so he put on a ring he found in his first year of uni and accidentally made a pact with the god of destruction, but that wasnt revealed until exams where a spell backfired and k!lled another student so now hes on the run as a puppet of the god who literally wants the world to become the second hell

My halfling monk was found as a baby on the steps of a temple. She was kept and raised by the high priest. Kids picked on her for being a halfling (she was in an almost all human area) and after she was found bloodied a monk tavern owner took her under his wing for training. She found out she's marked by her goddess to save the world and is blessed with special abilities and that she wasn't abandoned but instead her mother (also marked) was murdered by an assassin that my character later gets revenge against.
