Jerusalem was mystery Babylon and was destroyed in 70AD. Israel was the beast..the law was worn bound to the forehead or right hand and noone could trade at the temple unless wearing it. John Levi of Gischala entered the temple and declared himself above all. This was in 67AD halfway through tribulation and he occupied the temple for 42 months before the temple was trodden underfoot and left desolate. Revelation was completely fulfilled by 70AD.

I don’t think scripture identifies mystery Babylon as a false church. It’s more of a great false religion with its birth place being a religious and financial trade hub that exports many things including oil. It’s also the Deser of the Sea as we read in Isaiah. The coastal parts of Arabia and Mecca.
