@kylaleelawyer: I’ve never read any studies on this, but I am firmly convinced after years of practising in driving law that for some people the act of driving is an addiction. I’m not talking about people who need their licenses to do their jobs or look after their families. I’m talking about people who can’t help but drive even when they don’t have to. #Driving #DrivingLaw #Philosophy #Addiction #MentalHealth #StrangeAddiction #MyStrangeAddiction #Lawyer #LegalAdvice #LawyersOfTikTok #LawyersOfInstagram #KylaLee
Oh I know law-abiding people who were addicted to racing cars… it definitely had consequences they logically knew were avoidable. I know it’s different vs. what you’re describing, but I absolutely agree that people don’t talk about these other kinds of addictions.

jason :
People are addicted to the sensation that the activity produces, or the thought of that activity taking place. This is how the mind body phenomenon operates.

What about an addiction to buying mid cars? See, I think that’s a thing. And it’s a disease and I should be entitled to government help.
