ALS is 100% fatal and there is still no cure or treatment, please donate to an ALS organization to support the search for a cure

My grandpa died from ALS. All he could do at the end was blink & that's how he communicated... until he lost that, too. It's one of the most horrifying things I can imagine being diagnosed with or watching a loved one suffer from.

My father passed from ALS. It took him so fast. Started with slurred speech. It took a year to get diagnosed, he was gone 4 months later. It’s horrific

9 months. NINE. For 9ine months this man is asking 'WTF is wrong with me', 'I have the best insurance, resources, hope & money' yet referral after referral... Its no wonder people give up. Universe BLESS him. 💪

My grandpa was diagnosed with ALS at 56. He died 6 months later. It wasn’t expected to take him so quickly. I still don’t know whether or not that was a blessing, because we didn’t have to watch him suffer, but we barely had time to digest the diagnosis.

I had the opportunity to provide private hospice care in my own home. I looked after three patients with ALS. I have cared for a total of 419 individuals, and let me tell you, ALS is truly devastating.

My heart goes out to him. A very good friend of mine lost her life to ALS. It’s a horrible disease to have and I hope he has a really good family and friend base to gather around him and help him when things get worse.🙏

9 months he had to wait? That's it? Hmmm. Now imagine not having the money for the specialists, or God forbid- be a woman asking "what's wrong with me". You'd be waiting for years, and often it's too late. Mehhh.

What’s the age of onset range? I feel like he is on the older side for this— how awful. Such a devastating thing to indure. And 9 months??? That’s the US medical system for you.
