its so awesome that they are canonically together isnt that cool that they get married and live a happy life canonically in every game its just a really cute detail that they are so deeply in love confirmed by my uncle eiji aonuma who works at nintendo its just a little known detail that i really enjoy about the legend of Zelda franchise that they are soulmates who always end up together in every game and we get to watch them kiss and be in love all the time in every single game isnt that cool and fun it really makes me appreciate a game where two people are just so madly in love and i get to see it every single game why havent i run out of characters yet

I know, canonically, that this link isnt the one who had it worst. But like come on man, imagine putting your whole life into something, getting chosen outta nowhere by “the sword that seals the darkness”. To only then be talked down on by literally everyone in the kingdom you’re tryna save and blamed by the very princess you’re meant to protect, just to basically die and be forgotten by everyone. Then once you start showing a semblance of maybe slaying this evil, they stand behind you as if they always believed in you 😔 poor linky
