On June 7th, I fled (literally ran) for my life, after @WichitaPoliceDepartment failed to show up to an active 911 DV assault call with a weapon involved for 47 grueling minutes! I’ve never had to fight so hard to stay alive 🥺 I’m solely looking for support! The word needs to get out that hear in Wichita, if you’re involved in a DV incident, the WPD does NOT care! Oh hun. I was in an active gun fight on south broadway at the Walmart ACROSS the street was a sub station. They could hear the gun shots. Took them 10 minutes to respond with 10 separate 911 calls. Wichita PD does not care.
