I took my 2023 Chevy Tahoe to Robbins Chevrolet after being told the issue was fuel-related. I paid $5,400 for those repairs, only to have the check engine light come back on before I even made it home. I returned immediately to Robbins, where I was then told, “Sorry, it’s actually a transmission issue now.”
Since that day, my vehicle has been sitting at Robbins Chevrolet for over a month, and not a single repair has begun. Each week I call for an update and I’m told the same story: “We’re still looking for a transmission.” At this point, it’s beyond frustrating and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, when I asked for a loaner vehicle due to the lengthy delay, I was offered a Nissan Versa—completely inappropriate for a family of six—and was told it would cost me $60 per day. I drive a Chevy Tahoe, and this replacement offer was both unrealistic and inconsiderate given the circumstances.
This has been, by far, the worst dealership experience I have ever encountered. Poor communication, no urgency, and zero accountability. After this ordeal, I can confidently say I will never purchase another Chevrolet vehicle again, and I caution others to do thorough research before choosing Robbins Chevrolet or any Chevy dealership.
This experience has been disappointing, inconvenient, and has made me completely reconsider the brand.
