if listened to my mom, I would not take doctor test in USA. If I listened to my family, I wouldn't publish my song. The idea is you are getting out of the zone that your family are familiar with. They do love you, they are just afraid of unknown. it is OK, someone in the family need to explore.

Codie perfectly describes how it feels when we step away from the group. We were the first of our friend group to leave the town we raised our kids in. It was a mix of excitement, uncertainty and isolation. We kept our eyes forward and leaned on friends who had done the same before. And it’s all ok now…and many of those same friends are asking us how we did it bc they’re considering the same. 🥰

It’s a hard truth I didn’t accept at first but as you grow in life, you attract people who live inline with you growth pattern and slowly loosing those who were in the picture, which creates insecurities that may cause them to act others wise with the fear of loosing you.
