Finally, an Italian that tells the truth. I’m so tired of all these TikTok’s etc. saying I can’t have cappuccino in the afternoon. I have traveled to Italy at least eight times and I have it whenever I want. My mother and all her family were born and raised in Italy. We never had a problem with having cappuccino in the afternoon!

I mean it seems like unnecessary hair splitting but even as a non-Italian I can see there’s a logic to it. Drinking milk and eating something acidic (I.e: things with tomato sauce) would just cause stomach upset and ruin the experience of both. Eat your pizza, let it settle, THEN enjoy a cappuccino later or reverse.
