No to sleep overs. I also will not allow anyone to stay at my house. I personally do not want to be responsible for someone else’s child either. if I won’t let my child stay with you, what makes you think they can stay at my house.

I don’t allow my kids to a house with a pool in the yard if I’m not around. Also cannot go with anyone else but myself or husband to a beach or water park. I know it’s very “extra” but I have seen too many pool accidents as a kid- from spinal cord injuries to drownings. It’s just a no all around

This! and I also do not allow my husbands friends/male family members to stay in our spare bedroom. They can call me rude. But I have 3 little girls, this is their house and they shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable having someone in their home

Others say no sleepovers, but friends can sleep at their house. I don’t get why these people think they are the ones that should be automatically trusted by other parents?

Hope this doesn’t come across rude, but you may suffer a little anxiety. I’ve also been bitten in the face by a dog, oddly enough at the age of 7. And I understand the sleepover, but if you knew the family would you feel differently? Being a mom is rough 😒

You always have to do what is best for your kids and your family. But, as much as we want to protect our kids, you have to teach them not shelter them

Totally agree! I have two extremely well trained dogs - a golden retriever and a lab. I don’t allow either too close to my infant even with me or my husband right there.

Disagree on the dog part. But will admit it depends on the ind of dog. Labs and golden’s would never bite.
