You have to alternate the utensils. Otherwise the spoons will nest onto each other and not get totally clean.

I understand, my wife does it the wrong way too… and I always have to re-organize it because it has to be spoon with spoon, fork with fork, and knives with knives!!! lol

I mix the silverware in the dishwasher so they don’t stack. If they stack they don’t get clean.

I loaded the dishwasher and my husband came in and rearranged it all. I just chalked it up to his meticulous method. At first I was offended but it’s his burden to bear.

I would insist on further divisions: salad forks do NOT go with dinner forks; teaspoons do NOT go with tablespoons. It makes unloading SO much better!

Nope. You need to mix up the utensils in the dishwasher slits, or they will literally spoon and not clean correctly. Read the manual.

The utensils being grouped together makes putting them away a lot easier so you don't dread it, at least when you separate them while loading you can stare into the water for a couple seconds in-between inspections. It makes sense ❤️
