Nothing wrong with being a perennial playoff team. But they definitely feel like they’ve hit their ceiling. Especially since Ja hasn’t continued to ascend and keeps acting up, and it’s not like Memphis is a free agent destination. And then there’s also the financial considerations, payroll.. etc. Not saying it’s the RIGHT thing, but I understand.
