One thing you could add to this is the effect of climate change on northern fisheries. We are going to continue to see larger fish come out of the north with rising average temperatures and longer growing seasons. One of the few benefits of warmer temps I suppose.

I’m no scientist but I think tournaments claiming to send back most fish alive and well is bs, they put em in the live wells for 8plus hrs and release them on a completely opposing side of the lake most of the time, I’m sure some of em do fine but most is an egregious claim imo

tournament fishing with forward facing the delayed mortality in deep water is a lot more for sure catching way more deep fish than ever brewed stock unfortunately that's it that's you guys is opinion same with mine
