I feel your fear. I live in the country surrounded by maga’s and they know I didn’t vote for trump. They have already shunned me. I can’t even go to the church where the sheriff goes even. I can’t afford to move. So I bought 2 firearms and bear mace and took a concealed weapon class and got my license. I also have 2 pit bulls. I made sure they all know that I’m armed but I still watch over my shoulder even when I’m mowing or running errands. My nerves are shot because I don’t know what they’re capable of. Somehow this nightmare has to end. A lot of them talk about seeing our blood run in the street. The thing is I’d do anything for them in an emergency. God’s watching.

Not legal advice, but all liberals, especially women, need to start carrying defensive items. Most states have a stand your ground law. You have the right to defend yourself up to and including lethal force. Check your state laws.

Pro tip for anyone who might need it: lots of police stations are not staffed 24 hours, but city fire departments often are. So if you have to choose, you might be better off choosing a fire station (that’s not a volunteer department). 💜💜💜

Unfortunately most cops are also MAGA so they will lie and say there’s nothing they can do. Please equip yourself with multiple defense options and learn how to use them. Get a camera on your home and vehicle. Try not to go anywhere alone, especially remote areas. Document all attempts to inform law enforcement and get their refusal to help in writing. Get the names and badge numbers of anyone you speak to. I don’t know of any third party that can help pressure them to do their jobs, maybe someone else will.
