This makes me very emotional and sad because my late father was having all of these symptoms… He would snore very loud and at a lot of points while sleeping gasp for air, also he would over work himself and only sleep for 4-5 hours overnight even when my mother would beg him to sleep earlier and more he would tell her he will be fine, one day while we were gardening outside with my father while my mom was cooking dinner my father suddenly collapsed and started foaming from his mouth I was so shocked and so scared and called the ambulance, but unfortunately they came very late and my father passed away with a heart attack … I can never forget that image till this day it haunts me, I was only 13, if only I was a bit older and was more aware I would be very attentive to his health and insist for him to go get checked out and force him to take more care of his health… I hope he’s resting peacefully and watching over us from heaven. I miss and love you daily dad😔🤲🏽♥️

I used to have this myself. But i started to turn my life around by doing exercise regularly. still trying. But sleep even feels so much better nowadays. just gotta get healthy guys, change ya diet up and be faithful to it. Oh and most of all, don't forget Jesus Christ is there to help too 😁🙏🏽

Yes all of this! my husband was doing all of these things and I finally made him go get a sleep study.. his oxygen was dropping into the 70s, with about 50 "incidents per hour" .. got diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea he has a CPAP now and it's been life changing!

i went from 156 instances of interupted breathing an hour down to 0.1 instances, I luckily made it past a decade like this. Woke up several times unable to breathe. I had forgotten what it was like to feel good during the day.

Wow 🤯 knowing this now makes me sad and emotional 😭 this is exactly how my dad was and was sleeping all the symptoms you described was all him before he got deported! he unfortunately passed 3 years ago in his sleep according to Mexican Authorities (Doctors) we felt so helpless and were even more saddened we couldn’t even say a last goodbye to him sad part is we didn’t know he passed until my mom went down their after not hearing from him for 2 days and that is when we found out he passed in his sleep laying next to a building 😩😭😭. He was only 53 years old 😩

Yup. My ex husband went through this and I suggested he go get a cpap machine because I had to wake him up frantically all the time. One time I came in with him asleep on the recliner with his head down and I thought he passed.. I kept yelling his name from the door (my kids were young I didn’t want them seeing) and he finally woke up. Scary thing to watch. Also scary to hear someone breathe loudly then not breathe at all. I started to train myself during sleep to wake up if I heard him stop snoring

My husband has these symptoms. He would wake up choking multiple times a night. I knew he had it. After doing an at home sleep study, it was confirmed to be sleep apnea

This is true… my fiancé has server sleep apnea and snores and goes silent! Thankfully I push him to wear the machine but if he doesn’t, he gets very delirious & isn’t himself with lack of sleep/oxygen! The sleep machine really works for him! It’s not too loud fellas, and he sleeps comfy with it! GET THAT MACHINE

my mom snores very loud n long snores it's gets so loud especially when she's tired I get worried sometimes when I see her mouth is open n the she gasps for air n u see her lungs up n down as if she's choking 😫

My entire family has sleep Apnea, and I’m getting a sleep study done too because I wake up with achy limbs and have trouble staying awake all day. This can affect women too but it is more common in men.

My husband used to snore like that and I was concerned he had sleep apnea. We both had a sleep study done just to be safe…. I ENDED UP HAVING IT. I don’t snore, but unbeknownst to me, I gasp for air. Get checked ladies, it may show up differently like it did for me.

💥 THIS RIGHT HERE. My husband has every symptom. One day he was super sick before bed. Woke up the next morning still not feeling well. Went and laid on the couch and didn’t wake up all day other than when I forced him to wake up and drink something. Went right back to sleep. Finally I tried waking him again around 3 pm and he just wouldn’t hardly respond and was pale as a ghost. Called 911 got him to the hospital. He had too much CO2 in his blood. ABG through the roof. He was confused, didn’t remember his kids names, combative. Wasn’t conscious other than a min here and there for 4 days straight until they FINALLY were able to get him to wear a BIPAP for 24 hours straight. He was so close to a ventilator. I have no clue what would have happened if I didn’t follow my gut (it was uncommon for him to sleep all day if he was sick but something in my gut told me it wasn’t the same). I really don’t think he would be here today. Sleep apnea is NO JOKE. Nothing to play with.
