Seeing my 5yr old embalmed will forever be imbedded in my brain! Imagine how they would feel if they had to experience this pain like we do. Sending you love mama!

That was the first time I saw like a dead body. I appreciate you’re Grieving but that was shocking.

Post mortem photographs always make me feel like I’m honoring their life and sending them off with love. I’ve never been offended or upset by them.

I think people NEEDED that. You are real. Cash is real. This story is real. People needed a reminder of that!

Veruca is NOT responsible for your triggers, for you becoming uncomfortable or shocked. Death is confronting, it’s a hard truth that comes to us all. He looked very peaceful and beautiful, that’s her little boy, have some respect.

if someone posted a picture of a dead adult like that it would be seen as distasteful so why is this any different? yes its horrible and uncomfortable what veruca has been through, but what gives her the right to make others feel that way too? what about other grieving mothers that had to see that completely uncensored?? and don’t try to tell me ‘there was a warning’, because there most definitely was not a warning to begin with. sorry but i just do not understand what you gain from posting something so morbid?

i understood up until the point of you threatening to post pictures and videos of blood coming out of him because people were being nasty? i understand you need to grieve, ive been through similar, yet i couldn’t imagine the pain you’ve felt but that doesn’t seem okay…

How come you chose to have him embalmed ? Just curious as it’s not very common in Australia anymore.

No it’s common sense that’s it’s not appropriate to flash pictures of dead babies around for the shock value, which is what this is for.

We’re so separated from death in western society. And I think that needs to change. But dropping that pic on people with no warning was pretty rough.

as a Maori we bring our whanau home before laying them to rest and people think it's weird, but it's a beautiful tradition to say goodbye with everyone together
