I've done the same thing, and I'm raising a boy. I asked him the other day if he would give a homeless person his last piece of candy, "No, I don't want to." and I sat for a minute and said, "What about a homeless woman?" and he said "ALWAYS FOR LADIES" 😭 He also says yes ma'am but just yes for men.

Played semi-pro women’s football for many years and a lot of teammates were moms. One player’s son at like 5/6yrs old saw NFL on TV and said, “Mom, did you know boys can play football too?!”

When I was getting divorced after 32 years from his dad, I was anxious that it would just be me in an emergency. My kid said, when has he ever been here to help? If anything, he made things worse. I think of that every day.

We sort of do this but on purpose with sports. We don’t watch women’s soccer; we watch soccer. And occasionally we watch men’s soccer. We love hockey too, and we also really like men’s hockey. Our son wants to be a men’s soccer player when he’s older. 😅 It started as a joke but then just became habit and now he has no idea

Well that was kinda me… I had female teachers growing up, girls in my classes were always the most successful ones etc. I thought girls were smarter/more successful in life/jobs lol. Which i still do believe
