@crybabykatelynn: edited again, it’s pinned for now. i responded to a comment with it! i’d appreciate if yall could like the comment to push it to the top. keep in mind i’m a small content creator who usually averages 80 likes on a post. i didn’t omit the picture on purpose. just shared my random thoughts and posted a video that happened to perform better than my usual content. #anteriorpelvictilt
The fun part is when we stand “correctly” and everything hurts

I have an anterior tilted pelvis, a rounded back, and hyperextended knees. I look like a freaking S from the side 💀💀💀

I have this too girl! I do an excerise thingy, basically lie on your back and bend your knees so your feet are flat on the floor. Lift up and put a towel underneath your pelvis and then put your weight back down on it. Then get him to pull the towel out - not super fast and not super slow but it will make your back sit flat on the floor and helps to combat the pelvis tilt

I started working out consistently 3 years ago and me trying to fix my posture kind of got worse because every time I try to stand straight my abs engage and it feels like I'm constantly flexing, it's so uncomfortable that I just slouch a bit 😭😭

I just learned in PT that neutral position for our elbows isn’t right at our sides, it’s slightly in front, and doing that totally changed my shoulder position and pain🙃

I have a left pelvic tilt and I’m always leaning on my right leg bc that’s what’s most comfortable for me 😭 I have to consciously choose to stand straight

Girly I don’t have the results to back it up, but I literally had chat gpt create me a workout split that helps correct anterior pelvic tilt while helping me get to my aspired aesthetic, I’m on day 8 of a 6 week program it gave me. Wish me luck!

have you looked at Ehlers-Danlos syndrome symptoms? the way your shoulder moved gave the vibe and the pelvic tilt is a common experience

I corrected mine in a few months since the back pain was so bad. Look up the big 3 mcgill and squat university for modified sit ups and clamshell variations. Stretched for years and it never helped me but focused on hip strengthening PT videos instead

Just went to an Athletic Therapist for hip pain and you described my exact situation! If you have the resources, I would recommend seeing an Athletic Therapist, Physio, or Sports Therapist to address your specific concerns!

Do you also have TMJ issues? I deal with the same thing and I’m convinced my jaw issues are also connected but I am struggling to deal with the things I have to do to fix it all

sounds like my hyper mobility issues, not sure if that’s what u got but worth looking into hyper mobile spectrum disorder or hyper mobile ehlers danlos syndrome

omg i relate 100% 😩 BUT this and rounded shoulders, and so many other postural things can also just be how you're built. sometimes trying to "fix" it could be what's causing the issues. so if you have the possibility, i suggest a visit to the physiotherapist (not only talking to you, but generally!). they can help identify the real issue, has helped me so much!!
