@bradbernsteinlaw: Trump’s Backdoor Deportation Plan Exposed Under Trump’s new policy, immigration judges are terminating cases for people who’ve been in the U.S. less than 2 years — sending them straight to ICE for expedited removal with no hearing. It’s a betrayal of due process and a dereliction of judicial duty. If judges are acting like hangmen, they’ve failed the law — and the people. #️⃣ #ImmigrationJustice #TrumpPolicy #ImmigrationCourt #DueProcess #ExpeditedRemoval #AILA #ICE #ImmigrationJudges #ImmigrationLaw #BradBernstein

Their job is to enforce and follow the law. Almost 700 of the immigration judges are dealing with the various illegals that Biden flooded the system with and the applicants that have been waiting, who did it right, have less than 30 judges working on the approval process. Biden gave so many illegals a false sense of security by letting them in so easy - I’ve never seen this in almost three decades in immigration. The rules are the same but the enforcement is finally honoring those who have had thier hands tied for the last four years.

This new policy raises serious concerns about due process. It’s important for everyone to understand its impact on immigration rights and judicial responsibility.

Is this the “expedited removal law”? Clinton signed that into law in 1996 not Trump.

This is because immigration judges are not real Article III judges under the Constitution, right? They are essentially federal government employees and Donald Trump is their boss, which is why they need to obey Trump admin directives. Is that accurate?

ICE is taking people going to courts that have been here more than 2 years after the judge dismisses their cases.

Thats right! If you skipped "due process" coming in then you should not expect or be given "due process" going out.

They need to go. The court hearings are a joke. They sneak in and then want to waste our money trying to stay.

What about people that paid their lawyers to help them . For example, you are you going to reimburse them their money when before they leave the country ?

These are federal administrative judges that in essence Trump controls through directives. I wonder if the judges can be disbarred by the state entities for violation of ethical duties or other violations of professional responsibility.

I guess the question we all need to ask ourselves is does our constitution apply to non-citizens or does it only apply to citizens ?

I don’t understand! If they entered without inspection, how do the judges or Ice know they have been in the country for less than 2 years?
