the reason those big brand "soaps" in the super market are called body was or beauty bars is because they can not be legally called soap. soap is the result of the chemical reaction between a fat or oil (lard or some form of natural plant oil) and caustic soda (lye) called soaponification. Comercial body washes and beauty bars are made up of chemical detergents that act like soap and do not go through soaponification. thus they do not meet the requirements to be legally called soap. and they are truly not good for you skin.

So I’m always hesitant to order because I’m picky about my scents. Would you have an opinion for me to do a sample size mystery pack of soap if I tell you the type of scents I do and don’t like? ( 6oz soaps are to big and uncomfortable to use)

I'd love to find a good bar soap. I'd love to try your soap and other products however I'm a pregnant sahm right now. so I don't have the funds. however, I've long been looking for a soap that doesn't leave that film feeling on my skin. a lot of people will try to refer certain brands to me claiming that they don't feel the film I feel from most soaps. however I always feel a film from EVERY soap I've tried so far. so I normally just stick to body wash. but I'd love a good bar soap if I could find one. can't wait to get back to work so I can try your soap.
