Note: The difference between layer ‘Fill’ and ‘Opacity’ is this; Opacity reduces/increases opacity AND effects, whereas Fill only reduces/increases the fill contents and leaves the effects as is. . Working on this tutorial made me realize that a cool Photoshop feature would be live Displacement Maps so when you move a displaced object, the displacement map moves with it in real time (saving a few steps and extra files). .
