@10newsau: BREAKING: A shopping centre in Melbourne’s north was sent into lockdown on Wednesday afternoon after an SUV ploughed into the entrance of the complex. Police were called to Northland Shopping Centre around 4pm following reports of a stolen vehicle near the shopping centre on Murray Road in Preston. Dramatic footage shows a white SUV travelling at high speed through the shopping precinct before crashing into the front entrance. Officers attempted to block in the white Toyota LandCruiser outside the centre, but the driver, believed to be the sole occupant, took evasive action and drove directly through the middle of the complex. The vehicle fled the area and was last seen heading towards Wood Street. It remains outstanding at this time. No one was reported injured. One woman is being treated at the scene for shock.
