Sadly many vehicles don’t have the option of diesel or petrol models. The pollution control systems on diesel engines create lots of problems especially the DPF systems.

Modern Diesels are way too overcomplicated with Emission Reduction Equipment (DPF, EGR, AdBlue). Those Components along with the modern Fuel Systems are extremely expensive to replace when they fail. If there were no Emissions targets to achieve, a Diesel might be worth it, otherwise im paying the extra fuel for a Petrol..

Full flow injectors :
Petrol is best for runarounds and city cars school pickup and drop off however, for towing and long-distance driving, I would say diesel. diesel just so expensive to fix when fuel system has a issue you need to sell a kidney 🙃 nothing worse for a turbo diesel to start up and drive a short distance to work

Depends what sort of car and usage, long distance driving especially country/highway driving, SUV, heavy load and towing you want Diesel. 🚗💨 Everything else petrol or electric. ⚡🔋🚗
