I once brought a full water bottle through security. It was a reusable one so I could have very easily put whatever in that bottle. I know TSA saw it. They didn’t care. Tbh it was during Covid but still…a global pandemic shouldn’t make security less strict.

I agree with the precheck stuff but saying is bad because sometimes people get things through is like saying we should get rid of seatbelts because they don’t save everyone and they’re uncomfortable.

They also change the rules every so often even though they say they don’t???? Like I’ve gone through an airport and not had to take anything out and then on my return flight I get yelled at for not getting my liquids out fast enough.

Girl, never said the system was perfect! I get annoyed having to go through it EVERY DAY too. Doing something is better than nothing at all. I understand it feels silly sometimes but I wouldn’t want to go on an aircraft if people weren’t being screened to some extent just like bringing in clear bags and going through metal detectors at concerts now. It doesn’t always stop what could happen but at least it’s a precaution for everyone.

I took a ziplock bag of melted coconut oil through German airport security. The guy just asked what it was, that’s it. It was the end of my trip and I said “but you can throw it away if I can’t have it” and he put it back in my bag 😅
