A woman I used to work with (in Sweden) took 2 years stress leave bc her job was so stressful. She was the school LIBRARIAN working in the QUIETEST area of the school. When they hired someone else to come in and help with the library, she became so stressed out that someone dared to organize all the books (who wasn’t her herself) that she went on another year of stress leave.

I studied in Sweden and we only had like one subject per month so students could fully focus and not multitask. I had so much time i finished a second degree and wrote a book 🤣

I studied in Sweden – you only have one course at a time and tons of free time. When I told Swedes that in my country I work and study 8 subjects per semester, they were shocked

I know exactly how it is to work in Sweden I have lived here since I was 7 years old I am literally Swedish , we take a good time talking about life in the fika so we go back to computers and work as fast as we can and then we are very good in taking pauses at work so our brains can function, we focus on solutions and if a person is not working properly then the person needs a fix even also a problem in a project is red flagged and prioritized, we focus on open culture where we talk openly about the problems so we can solve them together that is the reason why people need to get to know each other well I can write so much bye bye 👏💛😁

As a Finn I find dealing with Swedes sometimes challenging since they prefer to "diskutera" first and later talk about the project etc. Quite oppositio in Finnish meetings. Also when Swedes discuss the project I feel like I dont I get any answers and I need read everything between the lines. Again quite different with Finns where we tell exactly where we are with the project 😅

That’s wild. 😂 In the Netherlands we alsohave meetings about meetings and then we have a meeting to discuss how the meeting went. And there are separate meetings where people can tell what their feelings where during those previous meetings. During this meeting about feelings no one can judge. But because we are Dutch everyone just judges. And then there has to be a new meeting about the judgemental comments. 😂
