I subbed for a virtual academy & it’s a hybrid situation. I basically babysat some mean preteens and begged them to stop playing video games all day.

As long as the kids are getting interaction with other children their age, I think it’s great. When I was a kid here in phx, we had kids that were homeschooled, but they still came for field trips and to do like specialized assignments and testing and eventually we all went to high school together and they were not like weird kids whatsoever so I think it’s really good.

It’s just public school at home. You’re only at school 6pm it’s a day and I know from homeschooling experience that if you use a system like this your kid will be on a computer all day doing school. I did a similar online public Scholl after homeschooling with my own curriculum for several years. I can teach in 3 hours what they teach in 6 or 8 a just leave a

Taking funds away from public schools, the Arizona Legislature turned it’s back on public education,they fought every voter approved measure to fund public education. Taxpayer money funding private schools and lining the pockets of charter school organizations. Shameful!
